Ltd. plant was strategically established in 1996 in Zaheerabad, Telangana to primarily cater to the Bus-Body Building requirements of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., whose Factory is located in close vicinity. The plant’s strategic location and alignment with the OEM infrastructure enabled MG to scale operations and offer value-added manufacturing at the source. As a natural progression, MG forayed into building fully integrated Buses under its Brand name.
Over time, the unit has evolved into a strong infrastructure hub, providing well equipped manufacturing facilities capable of meeting the high volume requirements of the OEMs and State Transport Undertakings through its built-up area of 25,000 sq. metres and an installed capacity of 12,000 economy buses per annum.

composites and vehicle electronics. The vertical was designed to complement MG’s
manufacturing capacity with integrated technology, reinforcing its position as a Total Solutions Provider for OEMs, Govt transport undertakings, fleet operators and aggregators. MG West & Deccan provides concept-to-execution solutions, integrating structural design, ergonomics, safety analysis and material optimization.
