From Conviction to Creation
Since its inception in 1980, MG Group has grown with steady purpose and confidence, guided by a clear vision of becoming a leader in bus and coach manufacturing. What began as a conviction soon transformed into a sustained journey of creation.
Over the decades, MG steadily built its foundations — setting up state-of-the-art facilities, strengthening its capabilities, and forging national as well as international collaborations that brought global standards to Indian manufacturing. Each milestone product that rolled out of MG’s plants — the Mammoth, Columbus, Starz, Dreamz, Glider, and Leera — reflected not only cutting-edge design and engineering but also a bold and modern identity that became unmistakably MG.
By 2016, the Group reached a landmark moment: 100,000 buses built and delivered across India and overseas markets. This achievement was more than a number — it was recognition of MG’s reliability, innovation, and growing stature.
