Mrs. Sudha Mohan Kamat holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and a Certification in Library Science from SNDT. She had a brief stint as a Librarian with Indian Merchants’ Chamber where she developed her love for not only reading but collecting books. Her home is a treasure trove of books.

As a Co-founder and a key stakeholder in MG Group’s diverse business portfolios, she had played a vital role in supporting her husband the Late Mr. Mohan Kamat in all the Group’s ventures from inception.

Although she does not actively participate in the day to day business operations of the Group, she continues to lend valuable support to the Group in her capacity as a shareholder Director and Partner.

She also actively manages the Group’s Car Rental business, bringing a balanced approach of care, discipline and operational efficiency to its day-to-day functioning.

Mrs. Sudha Kamat possesses commendable culinary prowess and has also authored ‘The Karwar Palatte- Coconuts, Chillies & More, and a Coffee Table Book showcasing delectable authentic Karwari cuisine recipes.
