Mr. Jayaram Shetty brings over 40 years of corporate experience and has been associated with MG Group for the past 28 years overseeing the Finance, Compliance and Administration functions, ensuring financial stability, operational efficiency and strong governance across the organization.

He also had a distinguished 19-year tenure at BSES Ltd. (now Adani Electricity Ltd.), where he was responsible for managing a foreign exchange portfolio exceeding ₹2,000 crores. During his time there, he also specialized in overseas project exports, contributing to the company’s global growth and financial strategy.

Mr. Jayaram Shetty has been a key figure at MG Group. Mr. Shetty initially started by managing the small FMCG unit operations in Mumbai, then moved to Zahreerabad to manage the Finance and Administrative functions of Automotive Division of the Group.

Mr. Shetty is now based in Mumbai looking after the Group’s Finance, Human Resource and Administrative functions. Additionally he oversees the legal matters of the Group.
